Who are the training courses suitable for?
The training courses are for everyone who wants to take an exclusive look behind the scenes at Bunami Ink and see how one of the world’s most sought-after tattoo artists works. All training courses are suitable for beginners and advanced students alike: beginners get an insight into all relevant topics such as hygiene, tattoo technique and drawing/design/inspiration, and advanced students also have the opportunity to take their tattoos to a whole new level through the training.
What content does the training offer?
Practical exercises and theory are mixed in a balanced ratio: • Idea and Drawing: learn how to draw the finest and most delicate motifs, prepare them for the skin and realize them masterfully • Presentation of your Works: Learn how to present your works in the best possible way • Bunami’s special single needle technique: learn how to tattoo fine line tattoos with precise linework and shading to give your tattoos outstanding quality • Discover the secrets about the best materials • We discuss the European Hygiene Directive and the structure of the workplace • Stencil: Together we create tattoo templates (stencils) that provide an excellent basis • Aftercare: Learn all about the right aftercare and care for fineline tattoos after the appointment • Social media: learn how to increase your reach and use the various platforms sensibly for your success
Do I need to bring anything to the training?
No – we will provide you with all the materials you need to successfully create a tattoo during the course. We will do the exercises together on practice skin.
In addition:
• In the training, we will show you how Bunami creates and prints her stencil templates with the iPad and Procreate
• You are welcome to bring your iPad and Procreate to prepare your own template under my guidance
• However, it is also possible to create the stencil template in the course without a drawing tablet
The tattoo machine is also provided, but you can also bring your own one to clarify any questions you may have.
In which language do the trainings take place?
In the description of the training courses (further up on this page) you will always find a reference to the language in which the course is held. There are English and German courses.
How long does the training take?
The training takes 6-7 hours per day, depending on how many participants there are.
Will I receive a certificate of participation in the training?
Yes, after successful participation in the Masterclass you will receive a signed certificate issued by the BUNAMI INK Academy.
What material will I receive before training?
Before the start of the training, you will receive a package with various contents and instructions, including brushes for Procreate, photo presets for Adobe Lightroom (app) and some documents. You don’t need to look through this content in advance as it will be covered in detail during the training, but it can’t hurt either – especially if you are a beginner.
What support will I receive after training?
Please write down any questions that arise during your post-workout exercises and send us an e-mail some time after your workout and we will give you feedback, usually within 48 hours.
For more complex topics that require a presence in the studio, it is possible to book one-day training sessions.
How many participants does the training have?
Trainings and masterclasses have a number of 1-4 participants in order to guarantee personal attention for each participant. If you want to train alone, that is also possible, just let us know before you book.
When and where does the training take place?
All training sessions currently take place at Studio Bunami Ink in the center of Amsterdam and are supervised by Alina Bunami.
You will find all the information about the date, location and time of your training course in the booking confirmation you received by email.

How much does the training cost and where can I book it?
The training costs 1800€ (Intensive 1-Day Training). Included are all costs for the reservation fee, the training with material, the documents and all snacks/drinks.
Reservation fee Intensive 1-Day Training: 300€
By paying the reservation fee you secure your place in the training.
The reservation fee is only refundable within 24 hours of payment and will be deducted from the remaining amount.
After paying the reservation fee, you will receive an e-mail with the reservation confirmation, invoice and information on how to pay the remaining amount.

We want to use the time as effectively as possible. That’s why hot and cold drinks and a snack buffet are provided by us during a short break each day.
Directions, Parking & Hotels
The BUNAMI INK Academy is located in the center of Amsterdam at Weteringstraat 39 A, 1017SM Amsterdam. If you are arriving on the day of your appointment, we recommend using public transport.
If you arrive by car, you should plan well in advance as parking spaces in Amsterdam are very limited. Live information on P+R parking garages and parking spaces can be found on the website of the City of Amsterdam.
